Due to company growth we are looking for a Senior SQL DBA Consultant to join our Managed Services team in Wellington.  This role will suit a DBA whom sees themselves as a specialist and is comfortable being seen as the ‘technical lead’ or the ‘go to person’.
 
You ideally will have the following skill-set / experience:

• SQL Server 2005 / 2008  and 6.5 or 7
• Leading and doing SQL Server set-up, installations and configurations
• Be comfortable doing ‘third level’ SQL Database trouble-shooting in a complex environment
• Ideally have led SQL database projects from a technical point of view.

As a Practice Principal you will act as the conduit between the Business Development and National Practice Delivery Teams.  The Practice Principal is responsible for defining what solutions we take to market and how we delivery these solutions.  A key focus for this role is ensuring the quality of approach [Methodologies and Frameworks] and the consistent application of the approach across the Practice nationally. The role works with the Sales team to validate opportunities, architect solutions to meet the customer’s requirements and to validate approach and implementation methodologies being applied.

• Five plus years of experience in a leadership role

We are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer/Consultant at our Wellington office to provide strong consulting and development experience required through a BI engagement.

In this role you be involved in:

• Providing clients with leadership and guidance in the area of BI
• Participating in pre-sales activity together with opportunity and proposal development
• Working with clients to define complex management reporting and data integration requirements
• Managing project delivery and internal technical resources to ensure project success

Intergen is a leading implementer of Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions in New Zealand. We require a Senior Consultant with a solid track record in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX to become a key member of our Wellington or Auckland teams.

The prime focus of this role is to lead world class innovative financial solutions for our clients that leverages Microsoft Dynamics AX solution and other Microsoft solutions, including Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and Microsoft SharePoint (MOSS).

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years' financial consulting and implementation experience.

You will be comfortable operating with senior managers as well as staff on client sites. You will have a desire to help our customers improve their business by implementing innovative solutions that leverage Microsoft Dynamics AX and other Microsoft solutions including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and MOSS.

Key requirements include:

• Consult and advise on finance best practice drawing upon previous experiences of financial departments and solutions.
• Work with clients to gather and document detailed business requirements suitable for the client to accept, AX configuration to happen and the development team to implement any identified changes.
• Take ownership for the implementation, configuration and delivery of AX projects working with the project team including Intergen’s and clients Project Manager.
• Work with the wider project team including Account Manager, Project Manager and Development team (AX and non-AX specialists).
• Provide super-user training to clients.
• Provide AX support and guidance to existing clients and some client relationship management.
• Work with the business development manager to respond to Microsoft Dynamics AX leads and opportunities including understanding high-level business and technical requirements, specifying the solution and estimating costs.
• Prepare and conduct AX demonstrations including complimentary MS technologies e.g. SharePoint Portal, Business Intelligence, Reporting Services, MS Office and Performance Point.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and support to staff and work with the wider Intergen team to realise strategic goals.
