INTERGEN COMMITS TO SUPPORTING NEW ISO/IEC STANDARD
New Zealand based software development company Intergen has today announced their commitment to supporting the newly approved ISO29500 Office Open XML standard in their Open XML based products.
This announcement is made in light of the Office Open XML vote passing at the International Standards Organisation today.
Chris Auld, Intergen’s Director of Strategy and Innovation, says; “We have seen huge excitement worldwide around TextGlow, our Silverlight based OOXML file viewer. Ratification as an ISO standard means that even small countries like New Zealand will be able to participate in the maintenance of the standard. We look forward to taking an active role in the maintenance of this standard through Standards New Zealand.”
