Intergen launches dedicated Business Intelligence team

21 November 2011 – IT business solutions provider Intergen is adding another string to its bow with the formal launch of its Business Intelligence capability. The company has recently been formally accredited for its expertise in this area, achieving Microsoft Gold Competency in Business Intelligence – a certification that only 1% of partners worldwide achieve.
Tim Mole, who has been working as Intergen’s Southern Regional Manager for the past seven years, has been appointed to head up the Business Intelligence team, which offers this service to customers in Australasia.
“As organisations look to work smarter, we’ve found that business intelligence has become more and more important to them,” says Tony Stewart, Managing Director, Intergen. “We have had a dedicated BI team for over four years now and have historically offered BI integrated into our solutions. We have decided to bring a greater focus and investment to developing this service line with the intention to help our customers extract the most value from their information and solutions investment. Tim has a strong background in data management and a solid understanding of our customers’ needs in this space.”
“Organisational systems, from CRM to finance and ERP, intranet and internet sites and document management systems are rich with information and insight that can be surfaced to create value for our clients,” says Mole. “Many organisations don’t realise what information they have, how easy it is to get access to it, or how to harness it into something they can actually use. First quarter next year will see the launch of Microsoft SQL Server 2012. This is a significant feature release across all aspects of the product line and will provide immediate benefit to organisations that adopt it.
