Martin Johnston

Intergen Australia

Martin is based in Sydney and is the Chief Executive Officer of Intergen’s Australian operations. He has over 20 years experience in Business and Information Technology Consulting, with the most recent ten years involved in general management and senior relationship management in conjunction with service delivery. His recent specialisation has been in enterprise solutions focused primarily on the strategic planning, enterprise and solutions architectural aspects using emerging and established web based technologies.

In these senior management roles he has established and run strategic business units for Ernst & Young Management Consulting in offshore joint venture arrangements as well as domestic Client Service Lines of business for Ernst & Young and Capgemini. In 2003 Martin established his own business and in 2005 he established, in conjucntion with Intergen (NZ) Ltd, the Sydney based operation - Intergen Solutions Pty Ltd.

During his career he has worked across a number of industries, both the Public and Private sectors, in a variety of disciplines and roles. His experience includes a number of management positions in large scale, complex business transformation programs. The typical characteristics of these solutions involved:

  • substantial re-engineering and transformation of existing business processes;
  • introduction of highly integrated and widely dispersed technology platforms to deliver the transformation;
  • widespread organisational and customer change and stakeholder management.

He has worked extensively in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

His skills in business solutions architecture design, delivery and operations,

commercial management, large multi-organisational team management and management of complex stakeholder communities positions him well to assist organisations wishing to pursue innovative business solutions to generate competitive and comparative advantage.
